As we realised the enormity of the COVID-19 pandemic, Castor Vali, like many companies, enhanced existing business continuity planning. This planning continues through to today and remains live. At the forefront of our planning has been the wellbeing of our staff and that of our clients, whilst strictly adhering to international guidelines. In anticipation of lockdown, Castor Vali Nigeria agreed on long-term charters and kept our crew and Navy detachment isolated and safe offshore, whilst maintaining the ability to quickly respond to client escort requests. We have supported, and continue to support, our maritime clients with armed guards. This is enabled through an internal track and trace database, which monitors the welfare and movements of our personnel. Click here for more details regarding Maritime Security Services. We also continue to support our offshore clients through several initiatives: routine quarantining of teams, COVID-19 testing, remote crew training and remote vessel assessments. These innovative approaches have helped us to maintain service delivery whilst meeting our strict quality criteria and our duty of care for all personnel.
The Castor Vali Security Information Services team quickly established a COVID-19 report, delivered to our clients twice weekly which tracks the pandemic, highlights key changes and vaccine developments, provides statistics and advice.
As some restrictions begin to lift our Corporate Travel Services have again been supporting our clients in regular destination hotspots, we have also returned to remote areas, all with strict compliance to our COVID-19 safety procedures.
