Castor Vali Group has been delivering certified Hostile Environment Awareness Training (HEAT) courses throughout Africa for many years to international commercial operators and NGOs.
Our bespoke, 3 – 5-day, residential courses are designed for organisations operating in challenging, remote, and hostile areas, wishing to provide their personnel with the necessary skills and mental preparation to deal with the broad range of threats prevalent in these regions. In areas prone to poor governance, instability, and/or natural disasters, crime and conflict often pose a real threat to operations, and medical facilities are often scarce and/or substandard.
Through our planning process and our Systems Approach to Training (SAT), we ensure training scenarios are relevant and accurate to reflect the environment to which our clients deploy.
Castor Vali’s qualified instructors provide theoretical and practical training models during the course to ensure that the participants fully understand the scenarios before practical application.
Castor Vali’s certified Hostile Environment Awareness Training courses are certified and cover, though not limited to, the following key subjects:
- Threat and Risk Mitigation Planning
