Our approval process begins with a due diligence assessment covering the organisation, services provided and the ability to meet Castor Vali’s operational, legal and ethical requirements.

Depending on the relationship, suppliers may be required to complete additional questionnaires, provide supporting documentation and confirm their commitment to Castor Vali’s Supplier Code of Conduct before approval.

The assessment is proportionate to the services being provided and considers factors including capability, experience, regulatory compliance and risk.

Requirements vary depending on the nature, location and risk profile of the services being provided.

Suppliers may be asked to provide information relating to their legal entity status, ownership, licences and registrations, insurance, financial standing, management systems, policies, certifications, experience and references. We may also request information relating to anti-bribery and corruption, human rights, modern slavery, health and safety, environmental management, information security and data protection.

Additional information may be required to meet specific client, contractual or regulatory requirements.

Approved suppliers remain subject to ongoing oversight to help ensure they continue to meet our standards and contractual obligations.

Monitoring is proportionate to the services provided and associated level of risk. This may include reviewing performance, regulatory compliance, responsiveness, service quality, documentation, certifications and any significant changes that could affect the supplier relationship.

Where areas for improvement are identified, we seek to work collaboratively with suppliers to address them.

Yes. Castor Vali reserves the right to suspend or remove suppliers where concerns arise regarding legal or regulatory compliance, ethical conduct, performance, contractual obligations, or any other matter that presents an unacceptable risk to Castor Vali or our clients.

Where appropriate, suppliers will have the opportunity to respond and implement corrective action. Serious breaches, or circumstances requiring immediate action, may result in suspension or removal without delay.

Suppliers and business partners are encouraged to report suspected misconduct, unethical behaviour, fraud, bribery, human rights concerns, conflicts of interest, or other potential breaches of our policies or applicable laws.

Concerns can be raised through our Compliance team or confidential whistleblowing arrangements. Reports are handled as confidentially as possible and assessed fairly and independently.

We are committed to enabling genuine concerns to be raised without fear of retaliation and taking appropriate action where concerns are substantiated.
