Carmen serves as CFO of the Castor Vali Group, with board-level responsibility for financial governance, legal, insurance, and long-term planning. She supports the CEO and Board on all financial matters and oversees the day-to-day management of the Group’s finance function.
Carmen is South African and based in Cape Town. She works closely with leadership to support sustainable growth, strategic planning and long-term financial resilience. She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1999 and has held numerous finance leadership positions.
Carmen brings extensive experience across Africa, having worked with organisations including Cambridge University Press and Coca-Cola. Her background spans financial management, compliance, strategy, and policy development and execution across both local entities and multinational businesses. She is passionate about strengthening financial foundations to enable responsible and sustainable expansion.
