Castor Vali provides essential vessel assessments and bespoke preparation before our clients’ operations in high-risk areas in accordance with best management practices.

Applying our vast experience in vessel hardening, Castor Vali follows best management practices and uses a pragmatic approach to ensure a vessel can operate freely while maintaining a strong security stance. Before any physical visit, we conduct a detailed study of any previous hardening fabrications, the vessel specification sheet and general arrangement, to ensure a thorough and effective assessment is completed. The application follows the principles of Deter-Detect-Delay-Deny and on completion, a detailed vulnerability assessment is produced highlighting all issues and the required mitigation.

Conducting a vessel vulnerability assessment enhances the vessel’s overall security and should be undertaken to reflect a vessel’s global footprint, rather than just for high-risk piracy waters. The assessment supports the vessel’s ship security plan and the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) code.

Meeting vessels worldwide, Castor Vali has years of experience in hardening all types and classes of vessels.
