Compliance and ethics continues to drive our strategic vision and operational agenda as we develop human rights programmes and engage with local communities in relation to both human rights and QHSSE requirements. This successful alignment is the sole responsibility of our dedicated in-house compliance team as we continue to engage with industry working groups ensuring we remain at the forefront of international industry compliance and regulation changes. These standards are maintained throughout all areas of our operations and in particular drive our policies on recruitment and training of private security personnel. Our commitment is clearly demonstrated in the following policies:
We have a long-term strategy towards Local Content supported by our locally incorporated regional subsidiaries. We aim to create long-term employment opportunities and promote development of professional skills benefiting the local communities in which we operate.
We also have extensive experience of supporting our clients in meeting their own contractual Local Content obligations; specifically those working within the Oil and Gas Industry where this is often required under regulatory frameworks. Our first hand experience of the challenges and opportunities local content inclusion can bring to a project, puts us in an excellent position to advise on and support our client’s Local Content programs. This frequently involves facilitating engagement with the local community and managing the recruitment and training of local security personnel.
